Our accessibility goal

We are working toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. This includes supporting screen readers, keyboard navigation, enlarged text, and reduced-motion settings.

We have tested parts of the website, but have not completed an independent accessibility audit. The limitations below remain part of our ongoing work.

Accessibility features

• Text descriptions for photographs and screen-reader handling for decorative images.
• Keyboard navigation, visible focus indicators, and a skip-to-content link.
• Menus that close with Escape and return focus to their controls.
• Checks for text, button, and form-field contrast.
• Form labels and autofill information.
• Controls to pause rotating photographs and quotations, with support for reduced-motion preferences.
• Layouts checked at enlarged text sizes and narrow screen widths.

Known limitations

• Video text alternatives. One film presents handwritten text without speech. A readable transcript of that text is still needed. The school’s existing review found captions on films with spoken content.
• Google Maps. The map on the Contact page is supplied by Google. The school cannot control its accessibility, so the address and travel information are also provided as text.
• Independent review. The website has not yet had an independent accessibility audit.
